Not much to say about this 7.0-hour training except that the participants were both WILLING and CAPABLE of mastering the fundamentals, which most of them already mastered most of the procedures but reported they appreciated clarity on some topics, a review on procedures, and encouragement to do more than just identify soil or rock.
Thank you to each person for sharing stories and experiences about their journey's with learning, practicing, experimenting, and performing critical procedures for (1) deciphering depositional environments with sedimentary sequences and (2) detecting fracture systems in bedrock settings.
On behalf of Martin Helmke and myself, we tip our hat to you for your positive energy and camaraderie during the training experience..... especially during the rock core exercises!
